All heavy duty safety switches feature a quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism, a dual cover interlock, and a color-coded indicator handle. They also come with many field installable or factory installed accessories. This internal barrier kit is field installed only. It provides IEC529 IP2X \ finger safe\ protection when door of enclosed disconnect switch is open. The barrier is transparent, which allows visual inspection of the switch. A door in the barrier allows use of test probes and replacement of fuses without removing the barrier. The barrier kit is UL component recognized.
